Booking a course
Bookings are made through the relevant course page on this website. When you book a course, you enter a contract with us for that specific course on the dates listed.
Confirmation. Once your booking and payment are processed, you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive this within 24 hours, contact us.
Joining instructions. Detailed joining instructions, including venue address, packing list, and any pre-course material, are sent approximately two weeks before the course start date.
Course content. Course content, schedule, and instructors are subject to reasonable change. We will notify you in advance of any significant change. If a change makes the course substantially different from what you booked, you are entitled to a full refund.
Cancellation by us. We may need to cancel a course if minimum participant numbers are not met, due to illness of the instructor, or for reasons of safety. In this case you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a future course.
Payment
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We accept major debit and credit cards. We do not store your card details.
Deposits. Course bookings require a 50 percent deposit at the time of booking, with the balance due 30 days before the course start date. For courses booked less than 30 days before the start date, full payment is required at the time of booking.
Currency and tax. Prices are listed in euro and include any applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
Invoices. An itemised invoice or receipt is available on request.
Cancellations and refunds
We understand that plans change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
More than 30 days before the course start date. Full refund, less any non-refundable transaction fees charged by Stripe.
Between 14 and 30 days before the course start date. 50 percent refund, or full credit toward a future course (valid for 12 months).
Less than 14 days before the course start date. No refund, but you may transfer your place to another person at no charge. To do this, email us with the name and contact details of the person taking your place at least 48 hours before the course starts.
No-shows. If you do not attend the course and have not arranged a transfer, no refund is given.
To request a cancellation, email us at hello@naturalfarmingireland.com. The date of your email is the date used to determine which refund tier applies.
In cases of serious illness, bereavement, or other genuine emergency, we will consider exceptions to the above policy on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us.
Consultancy services
Consultancy visits are arranged individually. The terms of a consultancy engagement, including scope, deliverables, fees, and travel costs, will be confirmed in writing before any visit takes place.
Consultancy advice is provided in good faith based on our experience and the information you share with us. Implementation of any advice is your responsibility. We do not guarantee specific outcomes, as farm results depend on many factors outside our control, including weather, soil conditions, livestock health, and management decisions.
Newsletter and marketing communications
If you sign up for our newsletter, we will send you occasional updates about courses, events, and our work. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Course participation
By attending a course, you agree to the following:
Health and safety. You will follow all safety instructions given by instructors and venue staff. You will inform us in advance of any medical condition, allergy, or accessibility need that may affect your participation. Working farms involve physical activity, animals, machinery, uneven ground, and weather exposure. You attend at your own risk and should be reasonably fit and mobile.
Photography. We may take photographs or short video clips during courses for our own promotional and educational use. If you do not want to appear in this material, let us know at the start of the course and we will respect that.
Conduct. We expect all participants to treat each other, the instructors, the venue, and any animals on site with respect. We reserve the right to ask anyone behaving inappropriately to leave the course without refund.
Materials. Course notes, recipes, and other materials provided are for your personal use. Please do not reproduce or share them for commercial purposes without our permission.
Liability
We take the safety and quality of our services seriously. However, to the maximum extent permitted by law:
We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from your use of the website or attendance at a course or consultancy, except where caused by our negligence.
We do not guarantee specific farming outcomes from following the methods taught in our courses or consultancy. Korean Natural Farming is a practice that requires adaptation to your specific conditions, and results vary by farm, soil, weather, and management.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant service.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by Irish law.
Privacy
Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using this website or booking a service, you agree to our Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your booking is the version in force at the time you book. We will post any updated terms on this page with a new last-updated date.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Irish law. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ireland.
