Tom Stack

Founder and dairy farmer

Tom took over the family dairy farm in Co. Limerick in 2012 and farmed conventionally for a few years before deciding something had to change. He transitioned to organic in 2018 and adopted Korean Natural Farming in 2019 after travelling to the USA to study with Chris Trump.

Today he milks 60 grass fed cows on virtually no external inputs, produces high quality organic milk and creates his own nutritional supplements for his animals using only natural processes. He has planted over 1,000 native trees on the land and is planting more to bring biodiversity and wildlife back to the farm.

Tom is, as far as anyone has verified, the first farmer in the world to convert a dairy farm fully to natural farming systems. He hosts Chris Trump in Ireland each year for the five day intensive KNF training and runs farm visits for those who want to see the work in person. He is the founding figure of natural farming in Ireland.
